Zimmerman Family

I was very excited to photograph this family!! I work with mom, so we had plenty of time to talk about locations and for me to get prepared mentally to be hanging out with some livestock at the farm. I was actually really excited to see some cows up close. In the end we spent a really long time together but it was so much fun.

 We went over to their farm for more photos there and it was the perfect setting! The kids show their cows so they brought them out for a few photos.

Taylor Family

 A couple things you should know: It was REALLY cold outside, and big brother was really sick this day. In our defense we didn't know just how sick he was until after the session - just thought he didn't like the cold - poor guy!

Even with the chill in the air, everyone was so fantastic! The matriarch of this family (you'll see her a little further down) runs a camp that just happens to have some fantastic scenery. Fall photos are beautiful but we've already talked about trying for some spring/summer photos so we can really utilize the beautiful lake as scenery - without freezing our tails off!

It was already really cold out, and then mom said she really wanted a photo by the lake, which had a strong breeze, and on the swing. Big brother was not at all thrilled, but what a trooper!
